AMOR DES. EXPERIMENTS · TOOLS · FIELD GUIDES

Small tools with a reason.

A practical shelf of web apps, plugins, field guides, and experiments. Built when an existing tool felt slow, vague, or too far from the way I work.

HTML · self-containedJatin Gupta's single-file HTML CV

CV, one file

My whole resume in a single HTML file.

An art director's CV as one self-contained HTML file, fonts and imagery baked in as data URIs, so it renders the same everywhere and prints clean. Same type system as the site: Inter, mono labels, one lime accent.

LiveFilm Amor, a films browser

Film Amor

Films by my 300 favorite directors.

A films browser built around one idea: 300 directors I actually care about, every film they made, in one place. 5,000+ films and 6,000+ TV series, the whole catalogue baked into a single page, no backend, nothing to call out to. Search a name, filter by genre or year, save what you want to watch.

AMOR DES.

lessisamor.tv

My portfolio, rebuilt as a living visual system.

The portfolio as a working design system: light and dark material states, a floating bulb that changes the theme live, three 3D WebGL carousels, a custom showreel player, and Inter hosted locally. The rebuild came out of a 102 point audit across typography, spacing, motion, and performance, with every fix checked in context.

Apps

Tools for the parts of the workflow that should be faster.

After Effects · v1.1

Move

Organize a messy After Effects project in one click.

A panel for After Effects that takes a cluttered Project panel and sorts it into a clean folder structure, by type, nested, with label colors, regrouping .ai/.psd layers. The existing organizer annoyed me, so I rebuilt it as vanilla CEP, mine to change. One Cmd+Z undoes the whole thing.

ClickUp Time Logger

Log your hours without opening ClickUp.

A Chrome extension that logs time straight to the ClickUp API. Pick project, pick section, type hours, four clicks, no tab-switching. Filling timesheets in ClickUp itself was the slow part. Your token stays in the browser and only ever talks to ClickUp.

Eagle · v1.1.0

Eagle Bulk Rename

Batch-rename in Eagle, without leaving Eagle.

An Eagle plugin that renames a stack of selected assets at once, find & replace, strip digits and symbols, casing, numbering, and smart tokens that fill in date, extension and tags. Live preview before you commit. Renaming files one by one was a tax I didn't want to keep paying.

Bulk Rename Mac

Batch-rename real files, with Finder tags.

A native macOS app that renames a whole folder at once, find & replace, casing, numbering, and smart date/extension tokens, plus Finder tags, labels and comments. Same lime-glass UI as the Eagle plugin, but it touches the real files on disk. Live preview, per-file ticks, sort and select-by-kind before you commit.

Amor Frame Extractor

Pull full-res stills out of any video or GIF.

A native macOS app that opens any video or GIF and grabs a full native-resolution snapshot at every step of the timeline (5% by default, ~21 stills), tick the frames you want, export to JPG / PNG / TIFF / HEIC with a quality slider. No re-encode, no downscale, exact seek. Built because pulling clean frames out of footage was always more fiddly than it should be.

Gif it Amor

Record your screen straight to a GIF.

A native macOS screen-to-GIF recorder and editor, there's no ScreenToGif on Mac, so I built one. Drag a see-through capture frame anywhere (or type an exact W×H), record with ScreenCaptureKit, then a full editor: trim and reorder frames, crop and resize them all at once, set the quality, and export. Spacebar plays the result.

The Art Director's Strategy Playbook

25 strategy frameworks, no MBA required.

A 35-page field guide for a craft-led art director moving into strategy. 25 brand and marketing frameworks, SWOT, Porter's Five Forces, jobs-to-be-done, the 12 archetypes, get/to/by, plus how agencies actually plan and pitch, with reusable templates. Made it because I was the one in the room who needed it.

The Lookdev of Strategy

Strategy, re-rendered in a motion designer's engine.

A 26-page companion that maps brand strategy onto the craft you already run, controlling idea is a logline, lookdev is the brand world, color script is tonal strategy, the treatment is the pitch. It reverse-engineers how Buck, The Mill and Territory actually think, in your words. So you can lead the room without leaving the art.

Is It Just Code Underneath?

Vertices are vectors. The art isn't.

A 10-page essay for 3D and motion designers. It starts from a plain fact, your meshes, MoGraph, sims, lighting and renders are all linear algebra run as code, and asks the harder question: does that make it less yours. It walks from the matrix math up to where authorship actually lives, and where it goes as AI stacks one more abstraction on top.

Built from 2,917 Instagram follows: 84 agents classified every account in parallel, then it was filtered down to 1,763 real creatives (no friends, no brands, no noise), 1,541 of them mapped across 94 countries. Cube

Learn to solve a Rubik's cube, then get fast.

A web app that teaches CFOP from scratch, a drag-to-turn 3D cube, 135 engine-verified algorithms with recognition diagrams, a case trainer and a WCA-style timer. Built because the solving guides I found were either too shallow or buried in walls of notation.
